How to join ?

Any interested individual can buy shares in the firm to entail themselves a place in the ecovillage. Following are to be expected out of this buyout -

  1. For an acre of land holdings, a minimum of 1000ft² space will be dedicated in the demarcated area for building your own cottage and homesteading. 

  2. Despite having a dedicated workforce to operate the farm, one can create his/her own farming intervention and other allied value streams within the ambit of the ecovillage's core principles. The ecovillage arrangement being a collective entity, the individual participation is not limited by the extent of one's landholdings.

  3. Periodic rationing of farm produce based on the individual landholdings. Complete range of a family's food requirements starting from vegetables, fruits, cereals, pulses, oilseeds etc., will be grown on the farm. Delivery to Bangalore plausible with extra transportation costs...so that you could share the produce with your relatives, friends etc.,

  4. Share on the profit arising out of selling the excess produce and from all the other value streams of the ecovillage. 

  5. With several value streams running on the ground, there will be opportunities for individual family members to earn a remuneration for their contribution in their relevant area of work

The effort aims to create a communion among people of various walks of life, who share a common interest in natural farming, sustainable homesteading, community building activities, rural recreation, ecotourism/trekking trails, environmental remediation & restoration etc.,
